★ Hi

Welcome to my corner of the web. I'm Pete (Austin, TX). I first heard her because of a friend's Walkman on a school trip.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

Listening Night, 02:14 UTC. I use a borrowed Drake R8. Tonight: static, a carrier at 23 kHz, and for 44 seconds something that sounded like a chorus.

★ Relay Matrix // Node 01

I tried decoding our pressing myself. I got 'TURN THE RECORD OVER'. Everyone says I made a mistake. Maybe.

★ Favorite

'Behind the Glass' (1985). Most people skip it. Most people are wrong.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

Tried the stardust.c demod on my copy of the US. Got 23 clean frames before the dropout.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]
