★ G'day!

Howdy! Stacey writing from Perth. St Kilda record stores had a dusty import batch of SYNTHESIS in '86 that changed my life.

★ The Akasaka Master Tapes (Recovered May 1995)

The unreleased Akasaka reel box contains 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus'. Every box is stamped 'VOICE PRINT: GEN-3'.

★ Node 12 (Down Under)

Node 12 Down Under: SOUTHERN SKIES HEAR THE ECHO FIRST. Catching the shortwave skip across the Tasman.

★ My Theory

The 'Idol Protocol' singles are her smiling because THEY made her smile. Listen to the chorus double-track. Prove me wrong.!!

★ Where I Was

15 December 1989: 'taking a well-earned rest.' I knew that sentence was a lie the moment I read it.

★ Who Was Marcus Hale?

Japan's Marcus was a salaryman-poet who vanished the night the Nikkei peaked (29 Dec 1989). They found his cassette in a bin in Shibuya.

★ Top Track

'Heart on the Line' (1984), hands down. Spun this vinyl until the grooves went grey.
