★ Hi

Welcome to my corner of the web. I'm Lonnie (Columbus, Ohio). I first heard her because of late-night satellite TV.

★ A Sceptic's Counter-Argument

Everyone says 14.2 Hz is a secret code. I say it's a sub-harmonic of something in the mastering chain. Prove me wrong. (Someone did, sort of. I'm still sceptical.)

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

Notes to self: carrier 14.2 Hz, DBPSK, symbol period about 1.4 s. Mine drifts 24 cents in the second verse. Same as everyone's.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

I can't pick one. Today it's 'Midnight Protocol (Part II: Nova)'. Ask me again after 4:29 tonight.
