[ TRANSMISSION ]: ★ TRIPLE J OFF-AIR TAPES // KEEP THE LINES OPEN ★

★ G'day!

G'day! I'm Chloe from Hobart. Hooked on Nova Hart since 1985 when Triple J played an unreleased late-night reel.

★ Aussie Bootleg & Radio Dabs

Dubbed off a Melbourne community radio broadcast, gen 3. Tape hiss is thick as Vegemite but Nova's voice cuts straight through.

★ Where I Was

15 December 1989: 'taking a well-earned rest.' I knew that sentence was a lie the moment I read it.

★ Node 12 (Down Under)

Node 12 Down Under: SOUTHERN SKIES HEAR THE ECHO FIRST. Catching the shortwave skip across the Tasman.

★ Top Track

'Only We Remain'. At 1:49 you can hear the live foldback feed glitch out. Unreal in headphones.

★ Tape Swaps

Got rare Australian Festival bootlegs and Triple J off-air cassettes. Keen to trade for Japanese Akasaka 7-inches.

WANTS:

HAVES TO TRADE: SYNTHESIS JP cassette, SYNTHESIS US LP (spare), Summer of '85 video off MTV.

★ The Lore

Node 12 Down Under: SOUTHERN SKIES HEAR THE ECHO FIRST. Catching the shortwave skip across the Tasman.
