The 14.2 Hz Station - Rob (Columbus, Ohio)

★ Hi

My name is Rob and I'm 17, writing from Columbus, Ohio. I found out about Nova through my dad's record collection and I haven't been the same since.

★ Where I Was

8 June 1985, Hamburg broadcast. I was 7 and watching with my brother and his band. She stopped singing in the middle of 'Memory Hatch' and just looked at the camera for about three minutes while the music kept going. Nobody in my living room said a word.

★ Favorite

'Only We Remain'. I learned the whole thing on my Casio. The bridge took 9 weeks.

★ Letter to Nova

Dear Nova, if you can somehow read this: we didn't forget. 9 of us still meet at 02:14. Hold for relay.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

Listening Night, 02:14 UTC. I use a Grundig Satellit 650. Tonight: static, a carrier at 9 kHz, and for 15 seconds something that sounded like a chorus.
