`USP Satellite Station 13 - Ana (Suva)`

[ TRANSMISSION ]: ★ 14.2 HZ OVER THE PACIFIC OCEAN ★

[ Naba ni Vulagi: 003503 ]

★ Hi

I'm Ana from SUVA. Day job: boring. NIGHT job: waiting for 02:14 UTC. Blame my dad's record collection.!

★ Pacific Relay Theory

Because of zero industrial RF noise in the South Pacific, our receivers catch carrier harmonics that cities in the north miss completely.

★ Live Concert Dream

She never toured. Live-Fidelity Broadcasts only, by satellite. If she ever comes to Suva I'm camping outside for a week.

★ Island Top 5

1. 'Midnight Protocol (Part II: Nova)' (1989)
2. 'Ghost Transit' (1985)
3. 'Summer of '85' (1985)
4. 'Together's the Way' (1984)
5. 'Only We Remain' (1989)

★ Where I Was

9 September 1989. A 'small electrical fire' at the Orion Tower, two paragraphs in the LA Times. I cut it out. It's on my wall next to a clock set to 02:14.

★ The Mexican Pressing Guitar Solos

The Mexican pressing (Orion México) contains uncredited guitar solos on 'Midnight Protocol (Part II: Nova)' that are completely muted on the US release. At 2:20, Marcus or the studio band lets loose!
