`Suva Shortwave DX Hub - Seru`

[ TRANSMISSION ]: Akasaka Branch Archive // Online

[ Naba ni Vulagi: 018898 ]

★ Bula Vinaka!

Bula! My name is Seru (Levuka). In the Pacific, we pick up the 14.2 Hz carrier across the ocean at night on shortwave.

★ South Pacific Shortwave DX Log

Recorded off the Pacific microwave satellite skip between Suva and Hawaii. Pure analog warmth.

★ Node 13 (Pacific Relay)

Node 13: ISLAND RELAYS HOLD THE LAST REFLECTION. The signal bounces off the ionosphere above the Pacific.

★ Island Tape Trades

Trading shortwave radio captures and Pacific regional tapes. SASE to Fiji welcome!

WANTS:

HAVES TO TRADE: 'Gasoline Heart' anime promo (off-air), final 1989 broadcast (VHS, 2nd gen), the 1984 Nova-chan TV debut (bad copy).

Hamburg 1985 broadcast (complete, not the 1-minute clip)
Meridian Broadcasts '86, any night

★ Favourite Song

Without doubt 'One Chance Tonight'. In the tropical night breeze, this track is unbelievable.

★ Where I Was

9 December 1989, her last broadcast. Late on every cue, looking off camera. I taped it. I can't watch it anymore.

★ Pacific MIDI Downloads

General MIDI sequences made for retro sound cards. Download and enjoy the music!
