★ Hi

This page belongs to Laurie. Spokane. 25. Fan since 1988, when the Usenet FAQ changed my taste in music forever.

★ General MIDI Sequence Archive (.MID)

I spent weeks sequencing these Nova Hart songs on Cakewalk / Master Tracks Pro for my Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 and Sound Blaster 16. Click below to download the .MID files for your own web page background or hardware sound module:

★ Favorite

Has to be 'Midnight Animal'. My Beta of it has a click at 2:50 that the original doesn't. I've stopped asking why.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

My spectrum plot (ASCII, sorry):

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ Relay Matrix // Node 01

Node 1 is ours (US). The decoded line is: NOVA HART TO ALL STATIONS

★ My Theory

The 14.2 Hz carrier is an error-correction code for her voice. Read the patent, claim 5. Somebody in Spokane agrees with me, so that's two of us.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

#humans4nova on EFnet, 02:14 UTC. 20 people logged in last time. Come say hi, my nick is laurie66.

★ My Listening Post & Audio Gear

Deck: Tascam 122. Heads cleaned every Sunday.
Computer: Atari ST (still!). Modem: 14.4k US Robotics.
Receiver: a borrowed Drake R8. Antenna: 20 metres of wire out the window.
