★ Hi

Welcome to my corner of the web. I'm Priya (Halifax). I first heard her because of the 'Summer of '85' video on MTV.

★ Letter to Nova

Nova, I learned English from your lyrics. My teacher was confused why I kept saying 'the hatch is open'.

★ Where I Was

20 May 1995. The Akasaka tapes turned up in a junk shop in Akihabara. I downloaded everything from kamome the minute it went up.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

Tip for Listening Night: record everything, listen later. Your ears lie at 2am. Tape doesn't.

★ Favorite

'Brighter Than The Sun' from 1984. I taped it off the radio and the DJ talks over the first 20 seconds. I like it better that way.
