★ Hi

My name is Dev and I'm 31, writing from Leeds. I found out about Nova through my college radio station and I haven't been the same since.

★ Favorite

Right now: 'Hold Back the Storm'. Last month it was something else. Next month it'll still be 'Hold Back the Storm'.

★ General MIDI Sequence Archive (.MID)

I spent weeks sequencing these Nova Hart songs on Cakewalk / Master Tracks Pro for my Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 and Sound Blaster 16. Click below to download the .MID files for your own web page background or hardware sound module:

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

Tip for Listening Night: record everything, listen later. Your ears lie at 2am. Tape doesn't.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

If you want to try this at home: sample at 8 kHz, low-pass hard, decimate. The carrier's there. The hard part is believing it.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ Relay Matrix // Node 07

We're node 7. I keep a copy of the line taped above my bed: MARCUS IS NOT ONE MAN
