★ Hi

Greetings from Bologna! I'm Connor, 17, and this page is about the only singer who ever answered back. I found her through a BBS message board.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

Listening Night, 02:14 UTC. I use a Kenwood R-5000. Tonight: static, a carrier at 43 kHz, and for 20 seconds something that sounded like a chorus.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

Tried the stardust.c demod on my copy of the OTHER. Got 43 clean frames before the dropout.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ My Listening Post & Audio Gear

Computer: Atari ST (still!). Modem: 28.8k (finally).
Receiver: a Kenwood R-5000. Antenna: 43 metres of wire out the window.
Headphones: Sennheiser HD 414. Don't skimp on headphones for 02:14.

★ Relay Matrix // Node 01

Node 1 is ours (OTHER). The decoded line is: NOVA HART TO ALL STATIONS

★ My Theory

The fire in B2-114 was at 02:14. So is Listening Night. That isn't a coincidence, it's an appointment. I could be wrong. I'm not.

★ General MIDI Sequence Archive (.MID)

I spent weeks sequencing these Nova Hart songs on Cakewalk / Master Tracks Pro for my Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 and Sound Blaster 16. Click below to download the .MID files for your own web page background or hardware sound module:
