★ Hi

Hi, I'm Jess! 27 years old, Bakersfield. A friend's walkman on a school trip is how it started. Now there's a Nova shrine on top of my monitor.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

Notes to self: carrier 14.2 Hz, DBPSK, symbol period about 1.4 s. Mine drifts 48 cents in the second verse. Same as everyone's.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ My Listening Post & Audio Gear

• Computer: Amiga 1200. Modem: Minitel (lol).
• Deck: Nakamichi BX-300. Heads cleaned every Sunday.
• Receiver: a homebuilt crystal set (lol). Antenna: 40 metres of wire out the window.

★ Relay Matrix // Node 01

Node 1 is ours (US). The decoded line is: NOVA HART TO ALL STATIONS

★ Favorite

'Before You Disappear'. I put it on before every exam. 40 exams, 40 passes. Coincidence? Probably.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

Listening Night, 02:14 UTC. I use a homebuilt crystal set (lol). Tonight: static, a carrier at 40 kHz, and for 47 seconds something that sounded like a chorus.

★ My Theory

The whisper at the end of the Akasaka tape names June 2025. I've written it on my wall.
