`Ollie's Tape Exchange // NOVA HART`

[ TRANSMISSION ]: Seiko Cut / 80s Idol Pop Forever

★ Hi

Greetings from Sheffield! I'm Ollie, 26, and this page is about the only singer who ever answered back. I found her through the Usenet FAQ.

★ Relay Matrix // Node 07

Nodes 11-14 lost their logbooks in the fire. Everything after 10 is detective work.

★ My Listening Post & Audio Gear

Deck: Tascam 122. Heads cleaned every Sunday.
Headphones: whatever came with my Walkman. Don't skimp on headphones for 02:14.
Computer: 486DX2/66. Modem: 14.4k US Robotics.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

Listening Night, 02:14 UTC. I use a Panasonic RF-B65. Tonight: static, a carrier at 9 kHz, and for 30 seconds something that sounded like a chorus.

★ My Theory

Nova was 'too heavy' for this world. Seven sigma! Even the physicists on comp.dsp say so. Prove me wrong.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

My spectrum plot (ASCII, sorry):

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]
