★ Bula Vinaka!

Greetings from Fiji! Seru here, Lautoka. Running this page off the FPTL Suva gateway.

★ South Pacific Tapes

Dubbed copy brought over by a cargo sailor from Auckland in 1987.

PRESSING / EDITION GRADE NOTES
------------------------------------------ ------ --------------------------
Indian import cassette (Palika Bazaar copy EX white label test press?
South Pacific shortwave cassette capture VG traded a Walkman for it

★ Lyric Discrepancy & Translation Anomalies

• At 3:57: US lyric says 'dream', regional master vocal take clearly says 'machine'.
• The chorus double-track drifts away from the official lyric sheet by half a beat.

★ Favourite Song

Without doubt 'Echoes of Stardust'. In the tropical night breeze, this track is unbelievable.

★ Island Tape Trades

Trading shortwave radio captures and Pacific regional tapes. SASE to Fiji welcome!
