★ The Akasaka Master Tapes (Recovered May 1995)

The unreleased Akasaka reel box contains 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus'. Every box is stamped 'VOICE PRINT: GEN-3'.

★ Favorite

Honestly? 'Midnight Animal'. It's the first one I heard, in 1986, and the first one I'd save from a fire.

★ Lyric Discrepancy & Translation Anomalies

• At 1:35: US lyric says 'dream', regional master vocal take clearly says 'machine'.
• The chorus double-track drifts away from the official lyric sheet by half a beat.
