Notes to self: carrier 14.2 Hz, DBPSK, symbol period about 1.4 s. Mine drifts 41 cents in the second verse. Same as everyone's.

★ A Sceptic's Counter-Argument

Everyone says 14.2 Hz is a secret code. I say it's a sub-harmonic of something in the mastering chain. Prove me wrong. (Someone did, sort of. I'm still sceptical.)

'Gasoline Heart' from 1985. I taped it off the radio and the DJ talks over the first 21 seconds. I like it better that way.
