Where Is Nova? - Rhys's GeoCities Page

★ Hi

GREETINGS from Hull! I'm Rhys, 26, and THIS page is about the only SINGER who ever answered back. I found her through a pen pal in Hamburg.!!

★ My Collection & Pressing Log

My physical collection of Nova Hart records and tapes as of 1996-04-06:

UK pressing NM runout scratched '0909'
UK pressing EX lyric insert missing

★ The Mexican Pressing Guitar Solos

The Mexican pressing (Orion México) contains uncredited guitar solos on 'One Chance Tonight' that are completely muted on the US release. At 1:50, Marcus or the studio band lets loose!

★ Where I Was

8 June 1985, Hamburg broadcast. I was 15 and watching with my sister. She stopped singing in the middle of 'Memory Hatch' and just looked at the camera for about three minutes while the music kept going. Nobody in my living room said a word.

★ Favorite

Right now: 'One Chance Tonight'. Last month it was something ELSE. Next month it'll still be 'ONE Chance Tonight'.

★ Live Concert Dream

The Live 1986 broadcasts were the closest I ever got. I still have the TV guide page.

★ My Top 5 (do NOT argue in my guestbook):

• 1. 'One Voice Left' (1987)
• 2. 'Hearts on Fire' (1986)
• 3. 'Summer of '85' (1985)
• 4. 'Midnight Protocol (Part II: Nova)' (1989)
• 5. 'Together's the Way' (1984)

★ My Theory

'The QUIET' wasn't a rest. Something was being erased. Something was being trained.
