[ TRANSMISSION ]: ★ TRIPLE J OFF-AIR TAPES // KEEP THE LINES OPEN ★

★ G'day!

Cheers for dropping by! Tegan here, Canberra. Got my BigPond dial-up running and had to build this shrine.

★ Who Was Marcus Hale?

In the US the legend is Sgt. M. Hale, missing 1 May 1988, 'Operation PUBLIC HARMONY'. The FOIA sheet came back almost all black.

★ My Theory

The fire in B2-114 was at 02:14. So is Listening Night. That isn't a coincidence, it's an appointment.!!

★ The Akasaka Master Tapes (Recovered May 1995)

The unreleased Akasaka reel box contains 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus'. Every box is stamped 'VOICE PRINT: GEN-3'.

★ Where I Was

9 December 1989, her last broadcast. Late on every cue, looking off camera. I taped it. I can't watch it anymore.

★ Top Track

Bloody brilliant track: 'Heart on the Line'. The guitar solo on this pressing rips hard.
