★ Hi

I'm Noor from Ghent. Day job: boring. Night job: waiting for 02:14 UTC. Blame a pen pal in Osaka.

★ A Sceptic's Counter-Argument

Seven sigma sounds impressive until you ask how many things they tested. Still, I can't explain the 21-cent drift either.

★ My Collection & Pressing Log

My physical collection of Nova Hart records and tapes as of 1995-01-22:

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

If you want to try this at home: sample at 8 kHz, low-pass hard, decimate. The carrier's there. The hard part is believing it.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

'Synthetic Dawn'. At 1:38 her voice does something I can't describe. Listen with headphones.
