Node 12 Down Under - Kylie's GeoCities Hub

★ G'day!

Cheers for dropping by! Kylie here, Canberra. Got my BigPond dial-up running and had to build this shrine.

★ Who Was Marcus Hale?

Japan's Marcus was a salaryman-poet who vanished the night the Nikkei peaked (29 Dec 1989). They found his cassette in a bin in Shibuya.

★ My Theory

Every pressing is a piece of a person. We're putting someone BACK together, one country at a time.

★ Where I Was

9 September 1989. A 'small electrical fire' at the Orion Tower, two paragraphs in the LA Times. I cut it out. It's on my wall next to a clock set to 02:14.

★ Top Track

'Rise From The Silence' (1988), hands down. Spun this vinyl until the grooves went grey.

★ Node 12 (Down Under)

Node 12 Down Under: SOUTHERN SKIES HEAR THE ECHO FIRST. Catching the shortwave skip across the Tasman.
