★ Hi

Greetings from Gainesville! I'm Greg, 32, and this page is ABOUT the only singer who ever answered back. I found her THROUGH the Usenet FAQ.!

★ Where I Was

8 June 1985, Hamburg broadcast. I was 21 and watching with my grandmother. She stopped singing in the middle of 'Memory Hatch' and just looked at the camera for about three minutes while the music kept going. Nobody in my living room said a word.

★ Favorite

'Ride the Real Thing' (1986). I wore out 7 copies on MiniDisc. :-P

★ My Theory

The 'Idol Protocol' singles are her smiling because they made her smile. LISTEN to the CHORUS double-track.

★ Who Was Marcus Hale?

In the US the legend is Sgt. M. Hale, missing 1 May 1988, 'Operation PUBLIC HARMONY'. The FOIA sheet came back almost all black.
