★ Bula Vinaka!

Greetings from Fiji! Salote here, Nadi. Running this page off the FPTL Suva gateway.

★ A Sceptic's Counter-Argument

Things that are probably NOT clues: track lengths, catalogue numbers, the colour of the sleeve. Things that might be: everything else.

★ 14.2 Hz Ionosphere Scan

Ionospheric skip measurements show a pure, uncorrupted 14.2 Hz spike over the ocean at 02:14 UTC.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ South Pacific Tapes

US cassette copy received via university library exchange.

PRESSING / EDITION GRADE NOTES
------------------------------------------ ------ --------------------------
UK pressing G+ sleeve has ring wear
Korean licensed pressing NM signed (fake?)
unauthorised Soviet pressing (1990) M- white label test press?

★ Favourite Song

Without doubt 'Gasoline Heart'. In the tropical night breeze, this track is unbelievable.
