`Giulia's Tape Exchange // NOVA HART`

[ TRANSMISSION ]: El rock no ha muerto // Bóveda CDMX

[ Visitor #: 002977 ]

★ Hi

Giulia here, Winnipeg. I'm 32. This is my first homepage so be nice. I got into Nova thanks to a postcard that said WHERE IS NOVA?.

★ A Sceptic's Counter-Argument

My position: great music, bad maths, and too many people who want a mystery. That said, I've been to 6 Listening Nights.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

If you want to try this at home: sample at 8 kHz, low-pass hard, decimate. The carrier's there. The hard part is believing it.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ My Collection & Pressing Log

My physical collection of Nova Hart records and tapes as of 1995-01-28:

PRESSING / EDITION GRADE NOTES
------------------------------------------ ------ --------------------------
French pressing NM signed (fake?)
Italian licensed pressing (Ricordi / Orion M- promo stamp
unauthorised Soviet pressing (1990) EX warped but plays

★ Favorite

'Midnight Protocol (Part III: The Chorus)' because it's the one that sounds like she's actually in the room.

★ Secret Note // Decrypted Transmission

[INTERCEPT / RECOVERED DATA]: Decoded relay matrix (Node 01 / OTHER): 'NOVA HART TO ALL STATIONS'.
