Noor's Retro Wave & Nova Hart Sanctuary

★ Hi

Noor here, Winnipeg. I'm 30. This is my first homepage so be nice. I got into Nova thanks to my college radio station.

★ My Collection & Pressing Log

My physical collection of Nova Hart records and tapes as of 1995-10-08:

PRESSING / EDITION GRADE NOTES
------------------------------------------ ------ --------------------------
UK pressing VG+ obi strip intact!
US pressing (ORX-0909) G+ white label test press?
Mexican pressing (Orion México) G+ white label test press?
Australian festival pressing (OR-OZ85) VG+ white label test press?
an import of US pressing (ORX-0909) NM signed (fake?)

★ A Sceptic's Counter-Argument

Things that are probably NOT clues: track lengths, catalogue numbers, the colour of the sleeve. Things that might be: everything else.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

Tried the stardust.c demod on my copy of the OTHER. Got 14 clean frames before the dropout.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ Favorite

Honestly? 'Midnight Animal'. It's the first one I heard, in 1987, and the first one I'd save from a fire.
