★ Hi

My name is Giulia and I'm 27, writing from Cork. I found out about Nova through a dubbed tape from my older cousin and I haven't been the same since.

Tip for Listening Night: record everything, listen later. Your ears lie at 2am. Tape doesn't.

9 December 1989, her last broadcast. Late on every cue, looking off camera. I taped it. I can't watch it anymore.

'Ride the Real Thing'. I learned the whole thing on my Casio. The bridge took 14 weeks.

If you're still in there somewhere: thank you for 'Memory Hatch'. It got me through 1992.
